Become A Sponsor

Sponsoring a student through Jiamini is a unique opportunity to make a positive difference in a young person’s life. By giving an orphaned adolescent the chance to attend secondary school you help open a variety of educational and occupational doors that would otherwise remain closed. But more than just a donation, our program gives you the ability to build a relationship with your student, watching them grow and mature into strong adults. An integral part of our approach is regular contact between our sponsors and students.

Becoming a sponsor means providing for your student’s tuition fees, school supplies, uniforms and related travel expenses. For those sponsors paired with students attending public boarding schools, it also covers room and board. All of this is possible for around $400 (US) per year.

We seek sponsors willing to make at least a 4-year commitment to a student. If you are interested in learning more about this extraordinary and rewarding opportunity, please contact us at:

Donating to Jiamini helps fund critical extracurricular tutoring sessions for our students. These sessions are an important component of our approach as they help prepare our Standard 7 students for the secondary school entrance exam and they help our students stay at the head of their classes once they are accepted into secondary school.
