Jen Harding

Jen Harding: Founder and Country Director

Jen is the Project Manager of a research study for Trachoma eye surgery that is being carried out over the next two years in the Mtwara Region of Tanzania. The project is run by Johns Hopkins University in partnership with the Tanzanian Ministry of Health.

Jen previously spent 3 years living and working in Tanzania with the United States Peace Corps. For her first two years she was a Community Health Worker in Newala Town (Mtwara Region). For her third year with the Peace Corps, she moved to Moshi Town (Kilimanjaro Region) and worked with Mkombozi Centre for Street Children. Throughout her time in the Peace Corps, Jen spent most of her time teaching vulnerable young people about HIV prevention and life skills. She also trained community members in childhood trauma and Child Protection issues.

Before beginning her work in Tanzania, Jen worked with teenagers in foster care and in homeless shelters in New York City. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University.

Katie Hunt-Morr

Katie Hunt-Morr: Founder and Director of Sponsor & Donor Relations

Katie works in media for Thomson Reuters and serves as the Regional Director of the company’s Green Team. She acts as a consultant for environmental non-profits including GreenMarkets and Eco Agents. Her education through Lewis & Clark College led her to Micronesia where she worked on biological and anthropological field research. Her experience with the Micronesian people inspired a desire to work with developing world populations.

Brad Bennett

Brad Bennett: Founder and Director of Finance & Media

Brad works as an Executive Producer for iNDELIBLE, an interactive agency in New York City. Privately, he provides counsel to non-profits on how to improve their online presence. Before his current roles Brad served as an Associate Vice President at Financial Dynamics where he provided online communications advice to private, non-profit and political candidate clients. Prior to this he worked in the government services unit of CGI-AMS where he worked with organizations such as the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation in the aftermath of 9/11 and the New York City Department of Finance. Brad graduated summa cum laude from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Elizabeth Ranson

Elizabeth Ranson: Director of Institutional Relations & SIPs

Elizabeth has recently returned to the United States from Tanzania, where she worked in education at Mkombozi Centre for Street Children in Moshi. Her work included both teaching street children and working with local teachers to improve education for vulnerable youth. During her tenure at Mkombozi she also volunteered at rural health clinics, which led her to pursue a career in health. She is currently studying at Columbia University in New York City to become a doctor, with the hope of returning to Tanzania to work in health clinics. Prior to moving to Tanzania, she graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College, and then worked at an after-school program with students in Washington DC.
